When is The Overlap launching?

We’re in the final stretch of building the iOS app. Crew who arrive through a friend’s invite will get in first — that’s the way it should be.

How does my month get into the app?

You mark it yourself: tap the days you’re off, drag across a run of them, add each trip with its layovers. A month takes a couple of minutes — and from then on The Overlap keeps finding the overlaps as your friends mark theirs.

Will my friends see my roster?

No. Friends only see the overlaps you share — the city, the dates, and whether it’s a layover or a day off for you. Your full schedule stays yours. More in our privacy policy.

What does an “overlap” include?

Both kinds of lucky: a layover that puts you in a friend’s city, and a day off that puts a friend in yours. If the cities and dates line up, it’s an overlap.

Android?

iOS ships first. Android is on the roadmap once the iOS app has taken off.

How do I delete my data?

Once the app launches: Settings → Account → Delete account. Everything tied to your account — roster data, overlaps, connections — is deleted. Pre-launch, just email us.
